Our chickens are raised outdoors once they have feathers (around 3-4 weeks old) and are moved daily to new grass. They eat non-gmo feed in the first 3-4 weeks and then eat grass, bugs, and non-gmo feed once they move out to the pasture.
You'll taste the difference in these pastured raised chickens. They are great roasted in the oven whole or butterflied/spatchcocked. Cook them on the grill as beer can chicken or on the smoker for unique and delicious flavor. They range from 5 - 9 lbs each.
Pastured chickens DO NOT contain antibiotics, artificial hormones, steroids, msg, nitrates/nitrites. Whole chickens are frozen and are $4.75/lb.
